Heinz Raspberry Balsamic Salad Dressing

This isn’t a ‘deliberately’ gluten free product, it is a ‘muggle’ item which just happens to be gluten free. I think they’re the best kind because they don’t come with the ‘free from’ price tag. I bought this salad dressing from Asda at a price of £1.99 for 200ml.

So, what’s it like? Well, it’s very, very sweet. I think it would probably be really nice on a dessert like ice cream actually. On a salad it’s quite strange and does take a bit of getting used to. It’s nice and I enjoyed it but it is best on very bland foods such as cucumber, rather than on flavoursome foods as it tends to fight with other flavours. It didn’t really go well with rocket.

I’m looking forward to trying this dressing on a wider variety of salads and maybe other foods.
